Bala Krishna's Simha has collected Rs.38, 89 ,65, 432 which is nearly 40 crores after two weeks.Simha has become the biggest hits of Tollywood. 'Simha' was not much talked about during the time it hit the sets as people were busy complaining about the fact that there was nothing to expect from a Bala Krishna movie since the actor's previous movies which had come with better expectations did not work out at the box office. It has been reported that the Simha collections have reached a peak and has grossed 38 crores in just two weeks and had grossed 26,48,75,000 at the end of the first week. The Simha collections all over the state, and particularly in the districts of Guntur, Kadapa, Krishna and Kurnool have amazed the film critics in Tollywood.

Can the collection beat Chiru's son Ram Charan Teja starrer Magadheera's highest record of 84 Crores?

Panchakshari slated to release on June 4th!.. 0

Anushka as “Panchakshari” is slated to release on June 4th. Producer Rama Chandra Rao has called for a press meet to explain the progress about the movie. Along with Producer Chandra, Director V.Samudra, Writer Madhu and few others have attended the meeting.

Speaking on this occasion, Director Samudra said” This “Panchakshari” is altogether a different subject which no one has witnessed on Big Screen so far. I am very glad to say that i got a rare oppurtunity to direct such a great movie with a talented artiste Anushka in the lead. This subject is not limitated to a particular emotion as such.It has everything you name it. The main strength of “Panchakshari” is the subject itself.And then stands Anushka with her mighty performance.Graphics also play a key role in the film which will be for an half n hour almost.I can confidently say that “Panchakshari” will definitely make you stick to your chairs in the theaters and gives you a nail biting experience with its treatment”

Dasari’s 149th film 'Young India' is out in theatres on Saturday. This film was made with 81 new comers and that could well be a record feat. It has been long time since Dasari Narayana Rao directed a film. That factor played a big role along with Dasari’s next project Parama Veera Chakra with Balakrishna added to the expectations on this film. But the initial reports are not encouraging enough.

Almost every reviewer ripped off the film and said that Dasari got stuck up in 80’s. Young India didn’t suit to the young generation’s tastes it seems. Dasari once again tried to mix up contemporary social and political issues layered with a message and that didn’t work this time too, say critics. We have to wait and see how and until when Young India sustains at box office with this bad feedback.
